While we were putting together a shortwave mix we came across a cover of the Crossroads Theme Tune that we couldn’t stop smiling to by The Lost T-Shirts of Atlantis. It is some tune! (The cast above including Carney the Gardener, Benny and is that Buzz the hippy character with the long hair and beard at the back?)

Once saw them filming an episode of Crossroads in Sutton Park – don’t think Nolly was in attendance, seem to remember a wheel chair which would have been unusual for them times. Tony Hatch would love this!
Blimmin’ eck, that’s great Gerry. Stan weren’t there was he? I saw him one lunchtime in Clerkenwell years ago and had to stop myself from going over and chatting to him. I am sure Tony Hatch would love that version. Was there ever a reggae version?

The theme reminds me of rubbish Southern ITV. We had Crossroads at peak viewing time of 5.00 while every other ITV region had proper kids programmes like cartoons and they had Crossroads after the news.
By the way, I’m trying a second batch of spuds in the ‘tunnel this year – hope to have new potatoes at xmas.

Great to hear about the spuds, do let us know how you get on. I reckon I will have a go at that for next xmas. Would be great going to the polytunnel and digging up fresh spuds for the xmas dinner.
