It wasn’t too bad here earlier this afternoon, so we tidied up the bed by the garage (above) and stuck in some seeds from the Kew Garden flower collection we were given as a xmas present. There’s some wonderful seeds in those selections.
Then at the back of the bed we stuck in the remaining seven seed potatoes of the “Jazz” variety. There’s still going to be some cold nights to come, so when they do sprout they’ll hopefully be protected by the jam jars. Hope there’s been some work in the garden where you are.
Weeds up to me knees 
Hello Pete, great stuff! Good luck wih your potatoes! We planted some seed earlies about 3 weeks ago! The packet they came in said to plant in March and they soon started to chit, so we thought we ought to put them out. Not a sign of anything yet! We hope the cold weather hasn’t killed them.
Hi Debby, you should be okay. They are probably keeping warm under the soil. If it looks like a cold night stick some fleece or protection on the top of the soil. If the buds do show though the ground just cover them with soil to protect from any cold weather. Good luck! Pete
